Five signs your stress management tools need an upgrade

I’ve been talking with other women entrepreneurs and professionals and it seems that stress and burnout are so common right now, that it just feels normal.

Common does not mean it’s normal. It doesn’t mean healthy. And it doesn’t mean it has to be this way.

Stressors are part of life, but being stuck in stress doesn’t have to be.

Here are five signs your stress management tools need an upgrade:

  1. You get done with work buzzing and need Netflix, wine, or weed to chill out.

  2. You are laying in bed at night trying to problem solve instead of getting the rest you need.

  3. You are constantly feeling crushed by the number of things you need to do to keep growing your business or please your boss.

  4. Tasks that used to take an hour are starting to take all day.

  5. Your passion project is starting to feel like a chore.

If this list sounds eerily familiar, it is a sign that your body is stuck in a stress response. It is your body asking you to better manage your stress.
